When I first became a stay at home mom I dreamed of having all this free time to read, sew, and catch up on whatever else while my baby peacefully slept or contentedly played next to me. I mean, how hard could having a baby be?!?!
Oh man did that dream crash and burn! Hard.
I have learned to have much more realistic goals of what I can get done, especially now that I have two. This means not sewing as often as I’d like but I know I’ll have more time as they get older. This fall I set a goal to sew myself 4 new wardorbe pieces that I needed. I actually made 3 of them and the 4th is cut and just waiting to be sewn. I call that a win!
Here are the patterns and I made:
Tulip Tee with cowl neck hack in a grey sweater knit from either Joann or Walmart
Sweet Tee in a maroon rayon from Joann
Cocoon Cardigan in a mustard double brushed polyester

The last pattern I have to sew up is the Cross Hem Tee and I’m so excited because I love hem line!
Next up, I plan to sew my first coat from a (*gasp*) paper pattern! I know, who am I?! I finally have all fabric but I’m scared to start cutting. Wish me luck! But just in case this is a major flop, send me your favorite PDF coat suggestions!
